Because dealing with real reporters is clearly overrated, the White House just hit the 'go live' button on its own digital broadcast network.
After effectively ghosting several major news outlets, the Trump administration decided that the best way to control the narrative is to just be the news network. They’ve launched a 24/7 YouTube channel that serves as a highlight reel for the president.
It is essentially a direct-to-consumer PR feed where every moment is curated by the people in the room. No pesky follow-up questions, no fact-checking, and definitely no reporters from outlets that might ask something uncomfortable. It is just raw, filtered footage served straight to the base.
Nothing says democratic transparency like cutting out the middleman and turning the government into a content creation house.
