USPS ignores judges, pushes new mail-in voting rules anyway

It’s wild, but the USPS just filed a final rule to change how mail-in voting works, even though judges have slapped them with injunctions twice now. Donald Trump wants the agency to play gatekeeper for ballots, and they aren't letting a little thing like the rule of law stop them.
Basically, they want the post office to decide who is eligible to vote before delivering a ballot. Critics say this is a massive attempt to federalize elections, which is traditionally a state job. The administration is still waiting on the Supreme Court, but they’ve decided to go ahead and put the rule into the federal register regardless of the court’s current block.
It’s a bold strategy to ignore federal judges while you’re currently asking them for favors.
