US Strikes Iran Again as Trump Rejects Talks
Just when we thought things couldn't get more tense, the US military launched another round of airstrikes on Iran, and Donald Trump is basically saying he's done talking.
The US military just went back for seconds, hitting southern Iran to protect shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz. This comes right after Iran messed with some commercial cargo ships.

Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, tried to take the high road, posting that Iranians are "known for civility" and won't answer vulgarity with vulgarity, but rather with "action." Which, let's be honest, sounds like a polite way of saying "see you on the battlefield."
Now we are right back to naval blockades, fresh oil sanctions, and completely scrapped peace agreements. It turns out that June memorandum of understanding lasted about as long as a New Year's resolution.
So much for "a little warning"—we are officially back to the brink of a massive regional war.
