Trump and Iran are already trading airstrikes and threats

Original version ·

Well, that was a quick breather. The ink on the geopolitical "peace" napkin isn't even dry, and the U.S. and Iran are already back to doing what they do best: blowing things up.

So much for diplomatic breakthroughs. Trump is already pointing fingers, accusing Iran of ripping up their brand-new framework agreement before anyone even got a chance to file it in a cabinet. Naturally, Iran immediately clapped back, threatening to walk away from the negotiating table for good.

Meanwhile, the actual strikes have already started flying, making the whole "ceasefire" vibe look like a joke. To make things even more chaotic, Israel and Hezbollah are still trading blows in the background like the pause button was never even pressed.

It turns out declaring a historic peace deal is much easier than actually getting people to stop shooting at each other.
