It's Been 5 Days of Ping-Pong Missiles Between the USA and Iran
Things in the Strait of Hormuz are getting messy as the USA and Iran trade strikes for the fifth straight day.
So, the USA and Iran have been playing a high-stakes game of aerial ping-pong for almost a week now. The US Central Command is trying to clear out missile sites and drones to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, while Iran is firing back at air bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
Donald Trump is out here demanding everyone play nice while also threatening to knock out power plants if they don't sit at the table. Meanwhile, Iran is claiming one of the USA strikes hit near a children's cancer hospital, which is about as bad as it gets. The real kicker is that this whole mess is just over a shipping lane.
It is wild that global energy stability is currently hanging by a thread while everyone just waits to see who blinks first.
