US and Iran are playing a dangerous game of tag over Hormuz

Original version ·

Things in the Strait of Hormuz just went from tense to full-blown drone slap-fight.

It started when Donald Trump ordered strikes on Iranian drone sites after a merchant ship got hit. The US Air Force sent in six jets to level the playing field, but Tehran didn't just sit there. Instead, they lobbed drones at Bahrain, claiming it's all about a broken cease-fire.

The craziest part? Nobody seems to be actually talking, just taking potshots and posting on social media about it. JD Vance is out here telling them to pick up a phone while unidentified projectiles keep smacking ships in the strait. It’s like a geopolitical version of a high school parking lot fight where everyone is filming for X instead of de-escalating.

Diplomacy by drone strike is certainly one way to keep things interesting for the rest of us.

Can we stop pretending these 'unidentified' hits aren't coming from the same actors? Absolute joke.
