So much for the weekend peace. While America and Iran are busy turning their brand-new ceasefire into a suggestion, Trump is prepping a massive border shakeup.

Over the weekend, the U.S. and Iran decided to skip the diplomatic pleasantries and go straight back to exchanging airstrikes. Nobody is officially declaring the truce dead yet, but it’s definitely on life support in the ICU.

Meanwhile, back home, Donald Trump is putting together his dream team for deportation. His latest pick to run ICE isn't some beltway bureaucrat or Washington insider. No, it’s a former Oklahoma state trooper.

Going from pulling over speeding pickups on Interstate 40 to managing a massive federal agency with a multi-billion dollar budget and thousands of agents is quite the career leap. But in the new administration, loyalty and "law and order" vibes are the only resume points that actually matter.
