Trump and Xi agree to talk about the 'super intelligence' apocalypse
The White House just announced a new hotline for when computers decide they've had enough of us, and apparently, we're calling it 'super intelligence' now.
So, Trump Trump and Xi Xi had a chat at the White House, and they decided the world needs a special communication channel for whenever machines go rogue. It’s officially being called super intelligence—a term Trump personally rebranded just this week.
The whole thing is peak 2026. Trump, who previously called AI threats a 'hoax,' is now setting up an 'SI Dialogue' to handle incidents. But don’t get too excited about global cooperation. When asked if the US would actually team up with China on this, Trump basically said no way, we’re winning, and why would we share our toys?
It’s comforting to know that if the machines start a coup, the first thing the leaders of the world will do is set up a meeting for two months from now.
