America is dropping new taxes of 10% to 12.5% on imports from 60 different nations. That basically hits 99% of everything shipped into the country.

The official reason? The administration claims these countries aren't doing enough to ban goods made with forced labor. So the big brain fix for forced labor overseas is making regular buyers pay a markup on it.

The government is essentially slapping a blanket tax on almost the entire global supply chain at once.
