Donald Trump Says He Might Bomb Oman If They Get In The Way
Because diplomacy is hard, Donald Trump has decided that the best way to handle Oman is just to threaten to blow them up.
So, Donald Trump is back on his favorite hobby: threatening to drop bombs on countries that aren't even part of the main drama. This time it is Oman, apparently because they are chatting with Iran about the Strait of Hormuz.
Oman is just trying to work out a transit map for a massive chunk of the world's oil, but Trump seems to think anything short of total surrender is a personal insult. He literally told Fox News that if they get in the way, he will bomb the hell out of them. It is not the first time, either—he apparently brought it up at a cabinet meeting too. The guy is also floating the idea of just making the Strait of Hormuz a United States territory, because why settle for a deal when you can just claim the whole ocean?
Diplomacy is officially dead, and the new strategy is just loud noises and map-drawing with missiles.
