Trump's 'Shocking' Election Files Are Basically Just Fan Fiction
The White House dropped a massive file dump to prove election fraud, and it turns out the only thing they really proved is that some people will do anything for a bonus check.
So, Donald Trump hopped on TV to warn us that our election system is hanging by a thread, and to back it up, he dumped a bunch of declassified files on the web. The vibe? It’s giving “I forgot my homework so I printed out a bunch of random PDFs.”
You’d expect smoking guns, but most of it is just heavily redacted bureaucracy. One CIA memo mentions China snooping around, but it was actually targeting Joe Biden’s campaign, not helping him. Then there’s an FBI report about TikTok data being used to fake driver’s licenses for illegal voters—except, as the report itself admits, TikTok doesn't even collect address data. Oops.
The best part is the voter fraud case in Michigan. It turns out someone was indeed faking registration forms, but not for some grand political conspiracy. The canvassers were just lazy and wanted their bonuses, so they forged signatures to pad their numbers. Nobody actually voted with those forms, and it changed absolutely nothing.
It turns out that if you want to find massive election conspiracies, you might be better off looking for bigfoot instead.
