Congress and South Carolina are pulling out all the stops for a grand send-off.

Lindsey Graham is getting a massive Capitol send-off. His body will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda before an invite-only service at the Washington National Cathedral with Donald Trump, followed by an F-16 flyover in South Carolina.

His sister, Darline Graham Nordone — who also happened to take over his Senate seat — laid out the funeral schedule. It goes from high-level ceremonies in Washington straight to a fighter jet salute by the Air National Guard before a private family burial.

Not everyone gets the Capitol Rotunda plus military jets in the sky, but that is how lawmakers are capping off his long political career.

A full military flyover and a Capitol Rotunda honor guarantee people will be talking about this Senate legacy for a while.
