Iran's latest move: Ballistic missiles in Bahrain and Kuwait

Original version ·

So much for that fragile peace agreement—Iran just turned the dial up to eleven.

Just when things seemed to be calming down, Iran launched a fresh round of attacks hitting US sites in Bahrain and Kuwait. We are talking about actual ballistic missiles flying through Kuwaiti airspace. One of the strikes in Bahrain even managed to damage a residential building right by an international airport.

This whole mess started after some cargo ships got tagged in the Strait of Hormuz. The US fired back at some drone sites, and Donald Trump took to Truth Social to basically say the gloves are off. He is officially warning that if Iran doesn't quit it, he might just finish the job entirely.

It is wild that we signed a peace deal earlier this month only to have missiles flying over residential neighborhoods weeks later. Diplomacy clearly has an expiration date.
