ICE is apparently rolling out electric shock gloves now

Original version ·

Because standard handcuffs just weren't high-tech enough for ICE enforcement, apparently.

So, ICE has decided that the next logical step in law enforcement equipment is literally electric shock gloves. The company behind this, Compliant Technologies, claims it’s just a non-lethal way to help people 'comply' during arrests.

We are basically living in a low-budget sci-fi movie. The idea is to zap someone into submission by just grabbing them. Technology that turns every touch into a Taser strike is now being considered for federal agents.

Nothing says 'public safety' quite like turning the police into human cattle prods.
