Pete Hegseth Wants to Boot Up NATO 3.0
Looks like the new defense boss has some strong opinions about how things are running across the pond.
Pete Hegseth Hegseth arrived in Brussels and immediately decided to spice things up. He is officially auditing U.S. troop deployments in Europe and wants to pivot the entire alliance into what he calls NATO 3.0.
Basically, he is tired of the status quo and thinks it is time for a hard reset. He didn't offer a manual for this upgrade, but he clearly wants to shift the balance of power away from the current way of doing business. It is essentially a corporate restructuring, but with tanks and ballistic missiles.
It is cute how everyone expects a legacy organization to just download a software patch and start behaving like a tech startup.
