Apalachee School Shooter Colt Gray Gets Life Without Parole at 16
The teenager behind the Georgia high school tragedy just learned he will spend literally the rest of his life behind bars.
A judge in Georgia handed sixteen-year-old Colt Gray the ultimate legal book: life in prison without any possibility of parole after he pleaded guilty to 55 counts for killing two classmates and two teachers at Apalachee High School.
The courtroom details were chilling. Prosecutors revealed that Gray, who was just fourteen at the time of the shooting, spent his time immersed in dark online forums idolizing previous school shooters and was caught on jail calls sounding thrilled about being compared to them. Judge Nicholas Primm pulled zero punches during sentencing, pointing out that rather than showing remorse, the kid actually seemed proud of what he did.
To make the whole tragic nightmare even wilder, his father Colin Gray was already convicted earlier this year for buying him the rifle in the first place.
A kid ruined dozens of families only to spend his entire teenage and adult life rotting in a cell for internet clout.
